Group Formats

In-Person groups

Meet at East End CHC 1619 Queen Street East (at Coxwell Ave). Registration is required as there is room capacity limit. Masks are optional at the Centre. Please do not attend a group program if you have a cough, fever or cold symptoms.

Hybrid groups

Meet virtually over zoom and in person at the Centre at the same time. Registration is required as there is room capacity limit for the in-person group.

Virtual groups

Meet on Zoom and requires access to an electronic device (computer, phone, or tablet) and a WIFI connection.

Join DECNET (Diabetes Education Community Network of East Toronto) for exercise! Explore different types of exercises with a Kinesiologist. Learn the basics about fitness with a complete body workout. Increase your physical activity level. Focus on building and maintaining strength, flexibility and balance.

If you are between the ages of 14 to 18, meet us on Wednesdays (Jul. 2, 9, 16, 23, and 30, 2025) from 5:00 – 7:00 PM. If you are between the ages of 15 to 20, join us on Saturdays Jul. 26, 2025 from 1:30 – 3:30 PM. We provide a safe and welcoming space where Black youth can come together, build friendships, explore identity, and grow through fun, meaningful activities, and open discussions. What to Expect: Group discussions & cultural sharing; Creative workshops & games; Guest speakers & mentorship; Free snacks & TTC tokens available.

Bring your photography to life and learn new techniques along the way! Let’s go on walks every Friday from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM. This month’s themes include We are Canadian (Jul. 4), Art Deco Architecture (Jul. 11), Little India (Jul. 18), and light (Jul. 25). This group depends on the weather and scheduled destinations may change.
