Group Program Descriptions
You must register in advance to join any of our FREE programs. Virtual groups are held via Zoom and require access to an electronic device (computer, phone, or tablet) and a WIFI connection.
Art Café - (Virtual Group) Join us on the last Wednesday of the month from 2:00pm – 4:00pm. In this ongoing group you can explore your emotions and express yourself with art. Brain Booster - (Virtual Group) Your brain has an amazing ability to adapt and change, even into old age. Join us on this ongoing program, the first Thursday of the month from 1:00pm – 2:30pm to try out some fun brain-boosting activities. Gentle Fit - (Virtual Group) Empower yourself to take action and get fit in this program designed for beginners on Tuesdays from 3:00pm – 4:00pm or Wednesdays from 1:00pm – 2:00pm. Gentle Yoga - (Virtual Group) Accessible yoga for everyone on Tuesdays from 6:15pm – 7:15pm. Regular yoga practice helps to release stress, lower blood pressure, promote a good night’s sleep, increase mobility and flexibility of joints, improves balance and posture. Social Walk - (In-Person Group) Improve your mood and kick off your day right by putting your best foot forward! Join our Social Walk group on Tuesdays from 10:00am – 11:00am to meet new people and feel connected with others while exploring your neighbourhood. Enjoy the fresh air, and improving your mental and physical wellbeing! This group is intended for those seeking gentle exercise rather than high-intensity/endurance.
